“Before the Screaming Begins”?
Never heard of it. Is it set in April 1997?

“Alien abductee Tom Harris is removed to protective custody”
That’s an awful and belated thing to say about your return to the back benches…

No; I think it must refer to April 2010! ;o)
Sorry Tom . . . couldn’t resist.
If it’s any consolation – I’ve just been banned from the Guardian . . . Again LOL . . . for questioning the veracity of Matt ‘Fuhrer’ Seaton.

If I remember the radio series rightly, the Tom Harris in question has superhuman mental powers which he uses to save the world from alien invasion. I hope you’ve disclosed this second job, Tom, or the Telegraph will be on the phone.

That’s right. He can read people’s minds.

Ripping yarn, eh? Blue Light Man Tom Harris makes his way to 10, Downing street, where the Prime Minister’s wife let’s him in, and asks him,
“Are you a backbencher?”
Repeats at midnight. Sequel starts tomorrow 6 pm.
