But ‘Scottish’ Labour aren’t, and won’t be after the election, in a position to deliver much of what they talk about. Also, it’s interesting to note that the New Labour mantra of ‘choice’, is largely missing from the ‘Scottish’ manifesto.
Can I ask what Joe who used to work at Ravenscraig has been doing over the last 18 years? Unless I am very much mistaken Ravenscraig closed in 1992, when the Tories were in charge. So for the entire period of Labour governance what has Joe been up to? He can’t have retired as he has children considerably younger than 18. Did the people who made this cartoon bother to do any research at all? Or even try thinking?
Gran’s off to the bingo? It must be one of those special bingo halls that’s managed to survive the smoking ban.
“A Future Fair For All” – unless you’re a smoker, Labour having pledged that, despite the 2010 review not having yet happened, the blanket ban will be maintained. I guess it’s going to be one of those special Labour reviews which is not a review at all but a consultation to listen to the favoured few lobbying for extension of restrictions.

BTW, does anone else think that the cover of the Tory manifesto looks like a directive from the Ministry of Works, circa 1952?
Or something from 1984 (the book)?!!!
